October 1, 1907 The Plaza, in New York City, opened its doors and instantly became an icon.  The 19 story hotel spared no expense including more than 1,650 crystal chandeliers and the largest single order of gold plated china from L. Straus and Sons.  Nearly 10 years ago, the hotel underwent a 450 million dollar upgrade.  The hotel and residential sections have housed kings, presidents, celebrities, and more.  Situated on 5th Avenue and Central Park South, The Plaza has become a symbol of wealth and prosperity.

We had the distinction of recently completing a system upgrade for a long time client who owns a residence in The Plaza.  Jeremy, Aaron, and their team diligently worked and planned in the weeks leading up to the installation date.  Their team designed and installed the rack of components and tested their system several times before sending it on its way to New York City.

This job included: Savant Control System, Lutron lighting control, Sony Surround Receivers, Sony 4K TVs, Custom Leon under mount speaker box.  System integration consisted of Distributed Audio and Video, Lighting and Shade Automation.

Jeremy and Aaron flew into the city and spent two days upgrading the client’s audio, video, network system, and remote management.  Working in The Plaza was different than most residential jobs due to high security, logistical challenges, shipment and delivery of products, and time limitations.  However, the men were able to complete their task to the high standard Synergy CTS demands and make their client very happy.
