Savant Dealer Summit 2017

Jeremy, co-owner of Synergy CTS,  traveled to Denver, Colorado for the Savant Dealer Summit 2017.  This is a special event, which Savant hosts each year, to share new products and annual roadmap with their integrators.  We were the only integrators to represent our area.  This year was full of excitement and anticipation of some big, and necessary, changes that Savant was putting into place.

We are excited that Robert “Bob” Madonna, Savant’s founder, is now back at the reins as CEO. His commitment to see Savant be #1 in the high end luxury market in automation is unmatched.  A company’s ethos changes when the CEO is excited about and sold on their products, and we see this happening again with Savant.

Following are some key points from our two days with Savant in Denver:

  • Smart App will become more user friendly, with better programming control and optimized for iPad as well as the iPhone.
  • WALLY: Savant’s new touchscreen in both 5.5” and 10” low profile designs
  • Pro Audio 4 , a universal, fully expandable platform for distributed audio.  Licensing restrictions apply, and each Pro4 comes with one music license.
  • Video over IP
  • Savant Climate, with a thermostat that looks like WALLY, will work with more types of HVAC systems, set scenes and supports user notifications.
  • Savant Energy utilizing Smart Grid with economic incentives for customers and Savant Smartbulbs
  • Savant integration with Alexa
  • Savant Shades
  • Master Technician Program which will benefit Platinum and Gold Integrators, like Synergy CTS.  Jeremy will be one of the first Savant Master Technicians.
