The Sand Dollar Awards is the annual recognition of the top projects in Collier county each year by the CBIA. Synergy CTS chose to submit in one category that had nothing to do with audio video work. “Best Specialty Feature” could be anything! Past winners include intricate, hand placed mosaics, custom bedroom design with detailed wood working, customized, hand carved staircases, and more.
When The Cave Bistro & Wine Bar at Naples Wine Collection was completed, we knew that the custom arched mirror wall must be submitted in this specialized category. The planning, design, and skill needed to create and install such a piece truly sets it apart from anything like it.
We are proud to have been chosen as winner for “Best Specialty Feature between $30,000 and $49,999” for our mirror wall. Check out the details below.
Naples Wine Collection recently completed the buildout of their new storefront, and they wanted a space to rent out for special events and entertainment. The Cave Bistro & Wine Bar, a beautiful arched room, has become their masterpiece. Our custom designed, arched mirror TV Wall is the centerpiece of this room. The Seura mirror needed 8 weeks of production time to be created to our specification and design. Installation took place over 2 ½ days with a crew of 6-8 always on site. This “entertainment glass” mirror has a bronze tint to compliment the room’s décor. Hidden behind this stunning, back lit mirror, are two 55” 4K TVs. When the televisions are off, you can not see them, but when they are on, they maintain a clear, crisp picture for viewing purposes. Control of the televisions is integrated into the client’s Savant control system. The entire system is monitored by our company’s Last Mile™ team. Last Mile™ was created to service our systems better with real time, proactive monitoring and a dedicated service division to ensure systems are always operational.
We collaborated with the client’s interior designer and builder to create the stunning mirror wall.
The owners of Naples Wine Collection have been clients of one of our founding owners for over 18 years. He has worked with them on various projects. The ability to understand the desires of the client, design it, and work with others involved made this project special. It took an enormous amount of coordination, skill, and care to create such a beautiful piece.
